I understand how important it is to have the necessary support and resources to pursue higher education. My 2025 Higher Education Scholarship is now open. Awards for this scholarship will be split between Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.
To apply, students must be residents of Prince George’s County, Maryland, and attend an in-state institution, with a few exceptions for out-of-state institutions. To view all eligibility requirements, visit the MHEC website here.
The deadline to apply for this scholarship is May 1st, 2025.
Please note: This is a non-renewable scholarship. Students who received the scholarship last year will have to reapply to be considered for the scholarship for 2025-2026. Students who received funds last year are not guaranteed to receive funds this year.
